maintenance mode is nothing special, i have it in my m53, its just a feature to safe your private pics and videos when you give it to someone, why would anyone give his phone to someone and almost every use app lock nowadays, secondly if anyone give his phone to service center than he already take backup of all sensitive data and than format it before giving to service center. i donot think there is any special need to have maintenance mode, instead of it if samsung could have given 5g only network mode than it would atleast give 5g signals in so call samsung 5g phones without degrading signals to 4g
