One UI is Samsung’s custom software skin for Android. It adds Samsung-exclusive features, UI customizations, and system optimizations on top of the base Android OS. Every major Android update is accompanied by a new version of One UI and they come with numbers. Every latest number is the latest update (which means newer things and features on the phones)
So the reason why Samsung phones in 2018 are not the same as the ones in 2025 is because of this One UI. You get it?
