Major One UI update is typically released in late October or early November. However, the release date for this year is uncertain as the beta version has not yet been released.

Hmmmmm... I guess we'll have to wait and see. Maybe they're revising it because of the backlash of the icon changes.

I hope so but rumour has it that it's because of 2 things: The 6.1.1 rollout and also because they want to get it as bug free as possible meaning less beta versions to release. We should get an update from them about it in October when they officially launch it at their SDC
