Yes because Exynos is a buggy chip so Samsung has to push maintenance. There is an article on Sammobile. Exynos devices have auto restart issues. At least we don't have such a situation. Only India A71 felt behind but the rest world getting December updates. North, South America, Europe, and a few Asian A71 are on November and December updates.

So why is A52 and A52s getting regular monthly updates?

A51, A52 have monthly security update. On the other hand, A71 has quarterly security update.

Not A51. It's getting maintanence patch. As Exynos 9611 has problem and reported globally so Samsung has to push maintanence. According Sammobile article Exynos 9611 devices has auto restart issue which effect motherboard as well. So it's a serious trouble for Samsung. As A51 globally best selling device.
