Since installing update (Windows 10, version 2004) today, I can no long manage my phones files throough my PC -  Windows 10 explorer when connected using a USB cable.

I have tried:

Different cables

Different USB ports

The usual stuff on tech forums around USB file transfer trpes etc

Does anyone have a solution or no if this latest Windows update takes out USB drivers / removes functionality etc????

No nothing removed, mine is working perfectly.
Try uninstalling the driver of your device through Device Manager, by right clicking the Window Icon.

Restart pc, it'll download the driver automatically.

If this doesn't work then try to reset windows settings.

If this doesn't work too then try rolling back your pc to older version if feasible.

As you said you tried all the hardware methods.

Also check if phone is charging upon connection, and check if storage option enabled in the drop down menu.

Last but no least if you can check in another pc to confirm if its not devices fault.

I hope these measures will eradicate your problem.
If not then there are some in depth solutions, it'll need detailed steps.

If it solves then don't forget to accept solution so as to help others too.

Thank you.
