When I take screenshot, it is saving directly to google photos which I don't want to. Please help me to resolve the issue.

As far as I've experienced my Google Photos usage, pictures taken by camera and screenshots are synced by default.
You may opt to disable auto backup if you want.
Go to Google Photos and open menu option.
Go to Device Folders and turn off the Camera backup.
Mind you it'll disable all the backup of your photos along with Screenshots.
