Screen recorder not showing up in A42?

I own the A42 and my mum owns the A71 I was comparing and noticed I don't have the screen recorder button but my mum does? Like why is this left out?? Or is this a bug? How can I get it on the a42? I can only see it appearing on the game bar when I play games. But I wanted to record something that's not a game.  Can anyone tell me why this isn't added on?? I would really love it on my A42 😭

Galaxy A does not have a screen recording feature.

but the A71 does so why can't the a42? its really there in the quick menu.

A42 doesn't have a screen record feature.. Better to use an app from the play store

ik but really thought I would get it when my mum technically an older phone compared to the one I have does so that was a bit disappointing

I'm sorry. But installing a third party app is the only solution. You have some kind of disadvantage if you don't buy a flagship phone. I also face similar problems

I still don't understand how an older phone in the same series has different software stuff? like recording your screen should be in all phones at this point
