Samsung rolls out January 2023 security update for Galaxy A73 in Malaysia

South Korea-based smartphone maker Samsung has started rolling out the January 2023 security update to some of its devices. The latest security update has now been made available for the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G smartphone, making it the first phone in the Galaxy A-series to receive it. The company recently released its latest security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series and the Galaxy S21 series.

As per the recent reports by SamMobile, the latest software update to the Galaxy A73 is currently rolling out in Malaysia, and it is expected to expand to other countries in the coming days. The new update brings the firmware of the phone to version A736BXXS2BVL3. However, Samsung hasn't specified which security flaws the new security patch addresses; it may cover most of those addressed in Google's January 2023 security patch as well as some additional flaws spotted in Galaxy devices
