Samsung has now officially announced that it is scrapping the Galaxy J series and replacing it with the newly-introduced Galaxy A series, as reported previously. While the exact reason for the move is unclear, Samsung might be planning on making its smartphone lineup less confusing for users. The confirmation comes from Samsung Malaysia’s official YouTube channel through a short promotional teaser for the recently-launched Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50. Samsung’s J series is a budget range in markets such as India and some parts of Europe.
