1. Ensure all devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
Connect both host and guest devices to the same Wi-Fi router (not mobile hotspot).
Avoid "Wi-Fi Assist" or switching between Wi-Fi and Mobile Data.
2. Disable Mobile Data on the Samsung device (host)
Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile Data → Off.
Some games fail to broadcast their local IP if mobile data is on simultaneously.
3. Turn off “Secure Wi-Fi” or “Data Saver”
Go to Settings → Connections → More Connection Settings:
Disable Secure Wi-Fi (Samsung VPN feature).
Disable Data Saver or Private DNS, if enabled.
4. Enable nearby device scanning
Go to Settings → Connections → More connection settings → Nearby device scanning → Turn ON.
This ensures that local broadcasts (used by some games) are discoverable.
5. Reset Network Settings (if nothing else works)
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
This will reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth—but often fixes weird visibility issues.
6. Try hosting the game using another phone
If another device (not Samsung) works fine as the host, the issue is likely on Samsung's side—specifically how it handles multicast or LAN discovery on recent Android versions.
