Samsung Galaxy a71 won't charge with original charger.

My phone will not charge with its original charging cable how ever my original charging cable works with other devices. I can only charge my device with non samsung charger. My original charger is a Samsung Type C to Type C charger I have a samsung galaxy A7. Please help.

Use a pin to clean out your charging block then try again

I have done that and still nothing. It's like my phone has a personal problem with that specific charger.🤣

Same issue with my Samsung A12. Samsung phones are developing a lot issues. Sometimes mine the power button doesn't function for days.

It's weird and I don't know why. I managed to somewhat sort my charging problems but it's temperamental. I purchased a whole new charger and it works for like a week then stops working again. It's really weird. In your case check maybe in your settings for the side key options maybe something has gone pear shaped in there.

The button is working now but it might just stop working out of the blue then it starts to work again after days on its own. The odd again is that if I use a generic charger for a while (like months) when I connect the original type c cable it starts to function again for only about a day then it stops.
