Hi can anyone please assist me I'm using True caller app and GBWHATSAPP but the notifications are silent.

Kindly try the following steps:
1.Go to SETTINGS.
2.Tap NOTIFICATIONS.
3.Select GBWHATSAPP.
4.Turn ON all the TOGGLES.

Thank you Mr but it still doesn't make a sound. All my notifications are on, and it does not appear on top for to easy reply my texts... even my True caller does the same.

Hi, go to Settings>Sounds and vibrations.
1. Under Sound mode, select sound
2. On same page, Select Volume then increase volume for Notifications.

Hi, no still the same. I think it's my software update because ever since I updated the software it's been like this.

Hi, if not already, try to soft reset your phone, if soft reset don't solve the problem then do a factory reset. If problem persists, it could be possible that the update did not installed properly. In that case you should consider bringing your phone to a service centre for a repair or software reload.

BACKUP & RESTORE

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accounts and backup
4. Tap on Backup and Restore
5. Select Backup.

You can backup and update using Samsung Smart switch.

Install the program on your computer and connect your phone to your computer using an Original Samsung cable and follow the prompts.
