Samsung Galaxy A7

It's nice to see a Samsung A range phone at a genuinely affordable price and with change to spare for £300, the A7 is a great choice if you want a Samsung smartphone without breaking the bank.
It offers nice design, but does have a few downsides such as no IP68 waterproofing and a Micro-USB port. There is one of the best screens you'll find at this price, though, as well as decent core specs.
The cameras are the most interesting thing here with three on the back and one on the front. They're not flawless but at this price it's unusual to find features like a wide-angle lens. Again, at this price, we can't complain too much.

11. Samsung Galaxy A8

If you've been missing the mini versions of the Galaxy S range then the Galaxy A8 is pretty much an S8 mini.
Getting some flagship design and specs in a cheaper phone makes the A8 a great mid-range choice. It's not perfect though, namely that you can get some really decent phones for an even cheaper price - if you don't mind not having a Samsung logo.
