I bought the Samsung Galaxy A50 yesterday. But the apps in the Play Store are not getting updates. When I am tapping on update it's showing 'Download Pending' while no other app is getting downloaded.

its common issue try connecting good and fast wifi, and try canceling all updates and tap on update apps again

Bro, check your sim network and then try..also clear cache of Google play store...and try to update apps one by one..
It's a common issue, as it happens because of slow network..
