I just got a new T-Mobile Samsung 5G phone. only got it as a possible better internet solution because I live in the country and my only options are garbage (less than 7M at all times no matter what). new phone's hotspot will connect my PS4 to the internet and give it an IP, but NAT Type Fails and I'm unable to chat with anyone or load into any online lobbies at all. I switch to Wake Wireless or my old AT&T iphone's hotspot and it connects/loads right up, but it's unplayable because it's so laggy. ipconfig on my PC shows the iphone and Wake giving public IPs, whereas the Samsung is giving a private. I'm thinking this is the problem but have no idea how to go about making the hotspot provide a public IP. Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem with my ps4 on both of the new a52 5g I bought from T Mobile. I upgraded both of my phones to these 5g phones specifically to improve my gaming experience on my ps4 via my Hotspot. I'll be returning both of these phones if they cannot provide Hotspot for my ps4.
