Galaxy A✅ Most common causes on the Galaxy A17 with One UI 8
1. “Network Permission for Apps” Bug
Some A16/A17 users reported that online games lose internet access after the update.
Check this:
1. Settings
2. Connections
3. Data usage
4. Allowed networks for apps
5. Look for PUBG and Roblox
6. Make sure they are set to Mobile data & Wi-Fi (NOT “Wi-Fi only”).
2. “App Management – Background limits” issue
One UI 8 auto-restricts some apps.
Check:
1. Settings
2. Battery
3. Background usage limits
4. Turn OFF:
"Put unused apps to sleep"
"Sleeping apps" — remove PUBG/Roblox if they appear there
3. Game Booster / Game Launcher conflict
The Game Booster engine on the new update sometimes blocks network optimization.
Try:
1. Settings → Advanced features
2. Game Booster
3. Turn OFF “Priority Mode”
4. Turn OFF “Pause internet for apps”
4. Clear the System Cache Partition (very important after big updates)
This fixes 50% of post-update game issues.
Steps:
1. Turn off the phone
2. Hold Volume Up + Power
3. When Samsung logo appears, release
4. Use volume keys → select Wipe cache partition
5. Choose Yes
6. Reboot
(This does NOT delete your data.)
5. Reset Network Settings
1. Settings
2. General management
3. Reset
4. Reset network settings
5. Reconnect Wi-Fi and try again
6. Check if the update broke WebView / Play System
Online games rely on WebView and Play Services. Sometimes after update they bug out.
Do this:
Open Google Play Store
Update: ✔ Android System WebView
✔ Google Play Services
✔ Google Play Games
✔ PUBG & Roblox
7. Reinstall the games — but completely
Before reinstalling:
1. Long-press the app → App info
2. Storage → Clear cache
3. Clear data
4. Uninstall
5. Restart phone
6. Reinstall

Galaxy ATell me:
A. When you open PUBG / Roblox, what exactly happens?
Stuck at loading?
Network error?
Crashes?
Black screen?
B. Are you on Wi-Fi or mobile data?
C. Did other apps lose network too, or only online games?

Galaxy AA. When I play pubg its smooth, phone isn't overheating it plays normal, then I get into a match I land then after maybe 1 or 2 mins it just takes itself out. Roblox does the same thing but it just takes longer to go out
B. Im on wifi
C. I have multiple other online games but it is just roblox and pubg that give me a problem.
Btw I couldn't do system cache cause the phone I use is a contract phone so if I went into that mode, the company was going to think I want to jailbreak the phone or something
