So samsung galaxy a53 received 6.1 update in india 2 days ago. Improved animations, lockscreen widgets are the two cools features that I found usefull till now. Other than that the newly added video editing option for adjusting the speed for particular part of video is good too.

But they REMOVED AOD. Its so bad that just this one thing made me forget about every other good thing that this update brought. Please please Samsung bring it back. Keep it optional so that users can decide if they want seamless experience there or customizable AOD with stickers and what not.

And I noticed that the notification icon for messages and calls that appears on top when new message is received or call notification, are same. You can not differentiate. There is option to chage the icon of sim card but the changed icon is same for messages and phone calls for 1 sim card. The difference is based on sim card and not the type of notification received( messages or calls). I dont want this. Please dont make it bad. Please fox these things

AOD is still customizable if you use LockStar and ClockFace with GoodLock, give it a try

I used to keep stickers there. I tried but I didn't find the option to for stickers. From lockstar we can only customize clock style

Please show a screenshot of what you are trying to say.

(Your Messages > Notification icon for messages and calls that appears at the top when you receive a new message or call notification is the same. You cannot differentiate.) My A52 device got one ui 6.1 update yesterday, but it is not updated yet.

I am trying to say that the icon that appears on the status bar to indicate a new notification for messages (if the Samsung Message app is default app) and incoming or missed calls are the same now.
Earlier, it used to be a bubble or envelope like icon for messages, I dont remember clearly, but I do remember the icons for messages and phone calls were different.
But now, with this update, there is an option to choose different icons for different sim cards if you have multiple sim cards in your phone. So now, if I am getting a call on my sim 1, it will show, say, green, and if I'm getting a call on sim 2, say it's red. But if I have received a message on Sim 1, it's going to appear in the status bar as the same green icon that appeared for call related notification. There is no difference.

This is how the app icons appear in the status bar when notifications arrive.

These are displayed like this in one ui 6.0. Now tell me how it is displayed in One UI 6.1 with screenshots.

These are for message notification now. And you must keep icons different for two sim cards otherwise you cannot tell on which number you have received a phone call. 1717219889456_1717219889442_0.jpg1717219901929_1717219901913_0.jpg1717220067061_1717220067051_0.jpg

Ok A notice related to Samsung Message application has come in Samsung Member app, in which message error has been mentioned. It may be possible that notification icons appear the same for calls and messages.1717228303977.jpg
