Number of major and security updates

How many years of major updates and security updates will be received by A34 5G, while buying the phone samsung promised 4 years major updates nd 5 years security updates, but now recently when I called customer service he said I wud get 3 years major updates and 4 year security. Something feels wrong , I confirmed with that guy on call multiple times but said same thing over and over . This seems bit concerning as I bought the phone on based of updates and now samsung decides to decrease it by 1 year with telling us (or maybe I missed out idk). Kinda disappointing I haven't even recieved OneUI 7 update yet -_-

Oh wait I just checked with updates nd now it's showing..... usually I get notif of new updates this time I had to properly check for updates on settings app nvm thanks tho (kinda embarrassing 😭)

Its ok happens do keep a regular check i dont wait for notifs cause they notify a week later or more even when the updage is released so i just check it once or twice a month

Don't ask anything regarding software update from customer care team they don't know anything about software updates they have 0 knowledge even if you ask about S25 ultra they will say you will get 4 years of os update
Its clearly written on the box that A34 will get 4 generation of os update & 5 years of Security updates

But they have mentioned "upto", therefore, it is upto their discretion.

They mentioned upto on every device box even if you check on S25 ultra also its written Upto 7 years of Os update
