Monthly Security updates

For past devices of j series Samsung used to provide monthly updates...now they have pushed even their new devices to quarterly updates...this is so bad because there are few lags in my A7 device like call screen appearing slow when we use another applications, front camera quality etc...What happened to Samsung suddenly switching from monthly updates for every device to quarterly updates???

Bro...that is a old mobile and it gets security updates as promised...whereas now Samsung is concentrating on new device launches and providing pie update to old models...so they scheduled quarterly updates for even new devices like A50
