Yes, both your laptop and phone, if your phone doesn't have it in default, it could possibly mean it's not supported

Yeah I personally link my phone with my pc using "Phone Companion" Install both apps on the PC (download it from store if you're using either Windows 10 or 11) and on phone download it from Google playstore or Samsung store and just following the instructions promptly as you're installing them...
