The laggy app opening and closing animations, as well as the device freezing, on your A34 device can be frustrating.

Possible Causes
1. *Insufficient RAM or storage*: Low available RAM or storage can cause lag and slow performance.
2. *Software issues*: Bugs or glitches in the operating system or apps can lead to lag and freezing.
3. *App conflicts*: Conflicts between apps or incompatible apps can cause performance issues.
4. *Hardware limitations*: The device's hardware specifications might be limiting its performance.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Check for software updates*: Ensure your device is running the latest software. Go to *Settings* > *Software update* > *Download and install*.
2. *Close unnecessary apps*: Regularly close apps you're not using to free up RAM and resources.
3. *Clear cache and data*: Clear the cache and data of individual apps or use the *Device Care* feature to optimize storage and RAM.
4. *Uninstall unused apps*: Remove any unused or unnecessary apps to free up storage space.
5. *Perform a factory reset*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider performing a factory reset. However, this will erase all data, so be sure to back up your device before doing so.
6. *Check for malware*: Run a virus scan using an anti-virus app to detect and remove any malware.
7. *Disable animations*: Try disabling animations to see if it improves performance. Go to *Settings* > *Developer options* > *Windows/Transition/Animator scale* and set them to *.5x* or *off*.

Additional Tips
1. *Monitor device temperature*: High device temperatures can cause performance issues. Ensure your device is in a well-ventilated area and avoid overcharging.
2. *Use a task manager*: Use a task manager app to monitor and close resource-intensive apps.
3. *Consider upgrading your device*: If your device is several years old, it might be nearing the end of its lifespan. Consider upgrading to a newer device with improved hardware and performance.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there's a hardware problem. You may want to visit a Samsung authorized service center for further assistance.
