My vibration motor stopped working right after the last update (2020-05-16) (https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-J415G/TPA/doc.html). I will note that after another update the vibration motor became more of a pulse than the regular constant vibration.
I have tried:
Safemode
*#0*#
Interactive trouble shooting in the samsung members app
Changing my volume settings along with do not disturb mode
Multiple restarts
Someone mentioned turning on vibrations in the sound part of settings, that option doesnt exist
Turning off my phone for a period of time
Changing my vibration pattern
And I am not factory resetting my phone as it's too much of a hassle.
Considering samsung's past update history with this phone, do I have to wait another 2 or more months to have this issue resolved?
