Issue with roaming in the US with Samsung A73

Hi, I have a Galaxy A73 phone. My base location is India. The phone has issues while roaming in the US. The network coverage is very poor and if it is connected then the data connection is on Edge (2g). During my last visit to US, I flipped over my SIM to an Apple device to check if it is a device or a network issue and found that the network worked without any issues on the Apple device. Thus, the issue is with the phone. I believe not all bands of the phone are enabled in the US leading to poor coverage. The device is not listed in approved list of devices by At&t in US. Samsung A53 is listed. But A73 is not listed.

Is there any plan by Samsung to get the device certified by AT&T and enable bands through software update to address the issue? I travel quite a bit to the US. This issue with a new phone is causing quite of heart burn. Has anyone else seen this issue?

I never thought a phone has to be checked for roaming compatibility before purchase. It always worked by default in the past. Clearly, it is an oversight.

This phone is available in one model, international version B

Not available in America

Does the India version not have bands to support US? Is it a software or a hardware issue? The roaming works without any issue in European countries and the Middle East.
