Accidental touch protection is a feature on Samsung phones that prevents the screen from responding to touches when the phone is in a dark place. This can help to prevent accidental calls, texts, or other actions when your phone is in your pocket or bag.

To use your phone when accidental touch protection is enabled, you need to swipe the lock icon to the left or right. This will dismiss the protection and allow you to use your phone as normal.

If you are having trouble swiping the lock icon, you can try turning off accidental touch protection. To do this, open the Settings app on your phone and go to Display > Accidental touch protection. Tap the switch next to Accidental touch protection to turn it off.
