I'm unable to use the double tap to wake up in a8+

Please help me guys, it's been two to three days I'm facing the problem. I'm unable to use the double tap to wake up in my a8 with oreo update.  I have  to always use the key to wake the phone.Please anyone help me with the solution.

yes.. use AOD nd then you can use double tap to wake up..

no special settings for the touch to wake avvii I'm using the default setting.
