Got samsung A73 .. i seriously hate samsung over sharpening the images.. the 108 mp is truly a gimmick.. it just is not sharp as it should be

i prefer clicking raw photos but they don't seem to have this option inbuilt in their camera app for a series

it's a nightmare for me as a occasional photographer who loves clicking photos but just cant use the full potential of sensor.. literally feels like downgrade from my OnePlus 7t atleast in terms of camera as it supported raw photos ( not talking about processing.. ofc Samsung is better but not the best )

imagine paying premium price and doing this.. users will run away rather than trusting company ngl

istg samsung is getting into my nerves at this point for not providing raw mode and then advertise it for **bleep** **bleep** quad camera setup even tho they know two of them are useless af

Check out Expert RAW app on galaxy store. Not sure if A73 is supported but you can try side loading the apk if it is not available

Raw photo support is not given by company to A series. But you can use 3rd party apps like gcam modes and open camera to capture raw.

Yes, 108 mp is a gimmick just like the "quad" cam claim and you should've known it, being a photographer.

where can i get gcam ?
i knew two cameras would be only good... but the 108 mp is just not as sharp as it should be... other phones with lower megapixels such as 64 has better sharpness.. even tho samsung has given the same sensor as in ther premium s series

Pls search youtube, or xda forum for a gcam mode suitable for your phone. You will get one as the phone has a snapdragon chip.

They haven't optimised the 108mp same as the flagships. That's the issue.
