I got my A71 drenched in water accidentally ot was in water for I think a minute or so as I didn't realize. i did turn it on first if worked but then again it turned itself off and now it is now it is not even turning on. I plan to visit the service center but still I wanted to ask.
Will it get fixed?
If yes, then how long does it take to get it fixed?
Went to the service center as I didn't wanted to take any risks. There I got to know that water damages are not covered by the warranty, since it was Friday yesterday I have to wait till Monday to get the actual update of my device as to which part mayhe got damaged due to the water. They said that the checking charge is Rs 177 and if I want I can take my device back without repairing by just paying 177. A rough estimate of overall repairing cost may come at 15000, which is outrageous in my opinion. 9000 for the LCD and the motherboard for 4000/5000.
