Galaxy AHere are some potential explanations:
1. *Cellular signal strength*: Weak cellular signal strength can cause your device to work harder, generating more heat. Check if you're in an area with poor cellular coverage.
2. *Mobile data settings*: Certain mobile data settings, such as high-speed data or video streaming, can cause increased heat generation. Try reducing your mobile data usage or switching to lower-speed data.
3. *Power management*: The device's power management system might be malfunctioning, causing excessive heat generation when charging the battery. Try calibrating your battery or performing a factory reset.
4. *Hardware issues*: It's possible that there's a hardware problem with your device, such as a faulty antenna or power management IC. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may want to visit a authorized service center for further assistance.
To mitigate the issue, you can try the following:
1. *Use Wi-Fi whenever possible*: As you've noticed, using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data seems to resolve the heating issue.
2. *Reduce mobile data usage*: Limit your mobile data usage to essential tasks, and try to use lower-speed data when possible.
3. *Keep your device in a well-ventilated area*: Ensure your device has proper airflow to help dissipate heat.
4. *Monitor your device's temperature*: Use an app to monitor your device's temperature and adjust your usage accordingly.
I hope these suggestions help you better understand and manage the heating issue with your mobile device.

Galaxy ATo check the strength of the mobile network, dial *#0011# (choose SIM 1 or 2) and see the RSRP rating. It must be within - 50 dBm to - 90 dBm (strong signal).
Force stop, storage - clear cache, remove the app from the recent list - for all the unnecessary apps.
Try these.
