Got December security update, but on my OPPO A9.

My 15k OPPO A9 (2019) received December patch.

A71 is stuck on August patch.

I am not going to buy any more Samsungs.

Bro don't trust chinese brands too much. Once you use you will get to know. I was a k20 pro user previously they just ask unnecessary permissions and cheap apps store which seems like a ad app. No proper update for android or security update. Always they give some bugs which you will have to adjust even with the strong hardware. Now i have s20 fe i get monthly proper bug free updates for security and Android updates coming way early than the chinese. And regarding your device rest assured you will get the Android and security updates (for 2019 mid range device they follow half yearly cycle). Bro at least they are giving Android 12 in A71 but in a flagship k20 pro they have given the last android 11 update in june with the last update also no news about security update...enjoy your secure device

Thanks for your concern bro. But I never received any major buggy update on my OPPO and Realme mobile.
By the way every midrange Samsung follow quarterly update and not half yearly update. Unless and until patch update frequency is mentioned on official website as half yearly or device is quite old. And I think you didn't read about Android 12 issue in Samsung.

Indian govt cannot impose ban as it will violate international trade agreements but being an Indian it should be our responsibility to see first where you are giving your money. I know 100% boycott is not possible but it should be like every time before buying Indians should consider other options if possible. But we are just looking and saving 500 -1000 ₹ and developing a country who always shows power and try to suppress India on every forum of the world. But I know you still won't understand.
