As You told up there that you have already done the restriction. Do disable the app unless you use that

Disabling any App & then again Enabling it then again Disabling it is not the right thing..Means the whole day you keep on doing these things...I have restricted background battery Consumption & Data for Google, Google Chrome, WhatsApp, Twitter etc. and believe me I have increased my Battery Consumption for at least 3-4 hours under same usage conditions...

@Gst26 im not sure what are you talking about. Once an app is disabled it will not even appear on your screen bro. The nature that your talking like disable and renable happens with system apps

@imprompt..Kindly read all the Comments prior to mine one of them quoted that that Disable the app unless you use that..What it means you disable the app & when you want to use it again Enable it, so my comment was in reference to that..Have I said that once any app is Disabled it will appear on the Scree ?? Have I ?? But in settings →Apps it will appear with Disabled option & one can Enable it from there...if you want to use other Browser like Microsoft Edge, Samsung Internet etc then one can uninstall the app this is the best way...But this is the example of only one app, what about if you have number of apps consuming the background battery then...Restricting battery Consumption in background will be best as per my personal Experience..Since I am using Google, Google Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet browser & all are Restricted in background and Battery Consumption is improved by 3-4 Hrs...This is my personal Experience I don't know about yours...

one can disable apps if they don't need them. I have disabled many system apps which are just useless for me. it also makes the app page look cleaner. In my opinion Google default app is just there for faster search and not for browsing, there is chrome for that purpose but if you restrict background data and battery for browsers you can't download using browsers on the other hand if you can download even after restricting them then that restricting is just a gimmick.

@IamJ95.. One can disable or Uninstall the app, if you don't want to use them in future depending on what option out of these two available on the nature of app...But He has not said that I am fed up or Unhappy from Google in his post, otherwise I would have also recommended him to Disable the app..He just shown that Google app consuming the battery most...So I advised to Restricts the background battery usage.. Anyway it's about just one app, what if you have number of apps and you don't have the substitute of that app like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp etc..then will you disable or Restricts Background Usage...Restricting Background usage means Background restriction not on Current usage...
