It's a matter of regret that I bought this garbage device A55. Almost 6 months, I've been using it for. 

My adapter and charging cable are authorised and it's official Samsung 25W PD adapter bought from official offline store. Today, I plugged the charger at 4:57am, and plugged out 6:56am. The phone took almost 2 hours to charge from 12% to 100%. In 2025, charging time of more or less 1 hour can be adjustable at best. But almost 2 hours? My friend's A25, even my other friend's A15 takes 1h 10 min to charge fully with 25W adapter. Why is galaxy A55 suffering from slow charging in 2025 competition? 25W is quite less according to the competition in market, I agree. But this device is not charging in 15W even! Maximum 12-13W, at best 16-17W is shown while charging with 25W official adapter. At the beginning, it shows super fast charging, but within a while, it shifts to normal charging just.

Whenever I complain any reasonable thing about camera and battery charging of A55, the company claims I'm using defective charger or unauthorized one. Is it a joke? No brand has such reproachable complaints like Samsung has with its midrange so-called A series devices. 


Let me remark one thing. My charger is totally new, and all settings like Bluetooth, WiFi, mobile data and so on remain off during charging. I even tried with my friends’ 25W Samsung adapter. The results remain same. Taking 2 hours to charge fully is nothing, but a joke in this era. There are more devices of 5000mAh battery which are quite faster in charging capability.

Don't know, why I bought this A series garbage! I wish, Samsung would have taken serious steps to retain their reputation of A series. 

I was an A52 user previously. I now regret that I shifted to A55. A52 was far better than it in all margins. By all means, I humbly request to Samsung team to address these serious issues worldwide, and push a fruitful software update to fix them completely. 

Dear brand Samsung, if a device lasts long with laud of users, it doesn't need to consider that which region it belongs to. I guess, you make devices of same model assuring same opportunities worldwide.

We can raise the our voice via x.com or any another method either samsung doesn't careand many people suffer from this but doesn't raise complaint so we need to be unity for raising complaint because samsung manufacture A55 faulty piece for all devices not single one we need to raise complaint and they have to recall their smartphones and exchange with S24 Fe or S24 or s23. After this all samsung is worst day by day and if you sell this device samsung devices are very less resale value than other smartphones so what is this ?

I don't want to sell it. Why would I carry such troubles? Shifting from a device to another is quite time killing. Samsung can push a software update to fix A55 issues. If they don't, they can't launch A56 with their brand value, I guess. Because, every successor device comes of a predecessor, which should be reputed one.

Tech YouTubers work as the delegates of consumers like us. They are completely quiet. Even some are promoting this device, as they are paid with a brand new flagship device from brands. Hence, we are unable to spread this issues.
