I can't wake up Google assistant from always on display. Is there any way to do that?

I don't want to unlock my phone for very small tasks

go to settings
Google app
account service
search assistant and voice
then voice
spoken result and enable all voice search as i attached

Google assistant works when smartphone is active like it is unlocked or on lockscreen.
But when the always on display is shown on the display the device only has functionality to show time,notification icons and music control.
Google assistant needs microphone on for activation as it requires hotword okay google or hey google but when always on display is shown on the smartphone the hotward detection is off hence it cant be activated from always on display according to me.

Bro on always on display the screen is not on,only somepart of the screen is used to show some basic info like date,time and some notification icons.
And in my device too I can activate assistant from lockscreen but not able to activate during aod.

yes viki is probably right.. the setting you showed is kept on but even then at always on display google assistant doesn't work

that "all voice search option will work just enable it and try
if not work comments here as i am using on off screen so i will search more and inform you

it is enabled man.. and the google assistant does work from lock screen but not from always on display..
I guess that's one limitation of google

I am going to try bixby.. let's see if that works or not
