Galaxy A21 froze after system update

My wife and my phone have both frozen after a system update. mine on 10/17 and hers on 10/19. both phones worked perfectly before the update. once the update was installed we got the dreaded black screen. the only way to power them on is by holding the power and volume up buttons. when they come on the screen says installing system update. gets to 99% and ooops, black screen. repeat process over and over with same result. Support says we needed to send them to be flashed. once Samsung in TX (i live in NY) received them they are telling me one phone has a warranty part to replace but the other has damage that will cost nearly $200 to repair. Again, the phones were working perfectly before the update.  how is it both phones worked perfectly, both phones got stuck after update , but only one phone needs a warranty part and the other needs all of these repairs. both phones should be repaired for nothing and returned.  SAMSUNG BLACK SCREEN and issues after updates seem to be very common as I have read recently. Samsung is aware of the problem but does nothing to fix it. while i was at my provider trying to solve the problem the manager told me they had 2 other customers the same day with the same issue and they just bought new phones because they thought theirs were just broken. NOT HAPPY  with the service from this company or the lack of transparency.

Sorry for your loss. I also posted about lots of peoples devices crashed after updating firmware, i also didnt updated mine because of that 🙁
