Should I update my A56 5G phone to Android 16 One UI 8.0 now? Or should I wait a few more days? What if after updating, I start having issues like the A34 5G phone? Friends, tell me what I should do?

Always install major os updates through samsung smart switch by connecting ur mobile to a pc and updating via a good reliable and consistent wifi... this is the only way to get a complete update package which gets checked for errors by smart switch algorithm and gets installed fully, leading u to a bug free experience

Umm..no green/pink lines??
And if you didn't get any, what precautions should I take when updating my phone to not get any green or pink lines?

1.Charge ur phone above 80% before updating
2.Let the phone be in a normal temperature before any update
3.Never do high intensity tasks before updating like gaming, video shoot or watching movies
4. Also while updating, keep the phone in a cool, normal temperature room without any back case, as this will help the phone to dissipate the heat evenly.

Better to update through WiFi or mobile data? Also above 80% means 100? Can I fully charge the battery before updating?

Always always strictly through a stable wifi only, as mobile data is unstable most of the times that may lead to incomplete or error files being downloaded and when u update directly as an OTA, many a times these causes bugs in the software. I would personally recommend to update all ur major updates through smart switch and atleast use it to update even ur minor updates 3 months once to get the best stable experience

Samsung recommends a battery of atleast 30% and above before an update, but to be safe i said it to be above 80%, and yes u can charge ur device fully but be sure not to update ur phone immediately after charging as ur device may still be hot due to the process... let it cool for some time say ½hr and then update
