I would like to suggest an innovative feature for the Samsung Camera app that could significantly improve the photography experience — especially in fast-paced situations.
🔍 Feature Idea: "Instant Shutter with Background Processing"
The idea is to allow the camera to capture the photo instantly when the shutter button is pressed, and process it in the background (e.g. HDR, scene optimizer, AI detail enhancement, etc.).
💡 Why This Feature is Needed:
- Currently, when we click a photo, there is a short delay due to real-time processing.
- This delay can cause missed moments in fast-moving scenarios (like kids, pets, action scenes).
- Users want fast capture with high-quality output, without waiting after every click.
🧠 How It Can Work:
1. When the shutter is pressed, the camera immediately captures and saves a quick RAW or lightweight JPEG version.
2. Processing like HDR merging, noise reduction, and detail enhancement happens in the background thread.
3. Once the processed photo is ready, it can either replace the quick photo or be saved as an enhanced version.
