Feature Request: Cinematic Video Mode & 2x Zoom in Portrait for Galaxy A55

Hello Samsung Team,

I’m a proud user of the Galaxy A55, and I truly appreciate the recent software updates and improvements. However, I and many users in the Galaxy A series community would like to request two important features:

1. Cinematic Video Mode

It would be amazing to have a Cinematic Video Mode (similar to iPhone or S Series) that includes:

Background blur (bokeh effect) in video

AI-based focus shifting

Subject tracking and enhanced depth simulation

These features would drastically improve the video capturing experience for content creators and casual users alike.

2. 2x Zoom in Portrait Mode

Currently, the Portrait Mode only supports 1x zoom. Adding a 2x zoom option in portrait shots would make portraits more dramatic and professional-looking, as seen in higher-end devices.

The A55 has strong enough hardware to support this feature.

We hope Samsung considers bringing these features to the Galaxy A55 with the upcoming One UI 7 / Android 15 update. It will make a big difference for mid-range users who love photography and content creation.

Great suggestion. All the users wish these changes should be implemented. A mid range (of course ₹40000+ is bit more than Mid range level), Most of other brand phones in this range have more features. So it is compulsory to implement atleast these changes in A55 to make the phone more worth for the money spent. 2X portrait zoom is a must feature. 😊❤

Hello team samsung,

Proud to say I am your samsung A55 5g user and here are the some that are missing out mostly in this segment phones

1. Portrait Vedio
It is the most awaited thing in A55 🙏 so that this feature will be great full

2. 2x Portrait picture capture
It will be helpful for capture as this phone contains a good pixel captures

We all A55 user are awaiting for this big update by next ONE UI 8 ANDROID 16 UPDATE
