Yes bro, Galaxy A36 officially supports 45W charging, but there’s a catch:
🔹 Samsung limits charging speed in software to protect battery health and manage heat.
🔹 In most cases, 25W and 45W chargers give similar charging times (~1 hour) because the phone doesn't sustain high wattage for long — it slows down after 50–60%.
🔹 So buying 45W charger gives only minor speed gains in the first few minutes.
👉 If your battery health is good and you’re not overheating, both chargers are fine. You haven’t wasted money — it’s just how Samsung tunes their charging curve. 🙂
✅ Also, tap the three dots on helpful replies and choose "Accept Solution" to guide others!

I was also curious about this. right now i am using a 25w charger and thinking of upgrading it to 45w but it seems after reading this i won't require to buy a new one 😅.
Also make sure you also use a cable with higher Amps support. The one which comes in box only supports upto max 3Amps
