Effect of dark mode on wallpaper

Did anyone notice the effect of darkmode on wallpaper?

I notice that brightness is low in dark mode. And this effect is more visible on pictures with bright colors.

 Is it only my device or someone else is also having same effect?

yes it is because the dark mode acts as a high contrast mode on bright pics reducing the glare and ambient light hue to enhance the lower depth colours of less bright hue
just like in moon at night the sky is black so moon is highlighted

doing what on if u use it on lock screen the puc is not continuously displayed only a fraction second the pic is displayed and maybe dark mode doesn't work on lock screen it's meant for apps and home screen

tap on dark mood ....inside it there is a setting....apply dark mood on wallpaper..it's the feature of android 10

yes if u want dark mode on wall paper click apply to wallpaper

Sadly this feature is taken away on andriod 11

I thought so too, but if you pinch the home screen and go to wallpapers the "apply dark mode to wallpaper" is at the bottom.
