Hi friends,so I found this thing where the Google my files app shows that I have used only 45gb of storage, while the Samsung's default file manager shows that almost 52GB is filled.

Nb: Actually Google's File app is correct because the additional 6GB or so of storage shown by Samsung is actually due to "media storage app" duplicating everything in my gallery.( If anyone of you remember, I have already posted this issue earlier).

So this is my question - what do you think is gonna happen when the storage is filled up according to Samsung's My File app while the Google's app shows that the storage is left? Will I be able to use the storage further?
I appreciate all your thoughts.

It is using only 17.5mb in my case and that can't be cleared.

Yeah it's happening only for some specific models. Unfortunately the fools at so called samsung help section can't even understand the issue.
For me that useless app is consuming 8gb and it cannot be cleared too!

Yes, true
I also noticed this a couple of days ago.
I think that the Samsung files counts the media and cache and all of that stuff.
The Samsung files shows the actual storage and not the Google.
Happened with me also before
Sorry for late reply 😅
