Galaxy AI know many users were excited for the fresh look, new features, and especially the animated lock screen clock in One UI 7. The new animated clock was a highlight of the update - but most mid-range and budget users didn't get it.
I contacted Samsung support and was told it requires high GPU performance so, no for other devices. That’s fine!!, but then why even mention it in the changelog if it’s not going to work for the majority?
Samsung doesn’t list S-series exclusives like DeX or Galaxy AI in general changelogs. So why include this?
Without the animation, the clock looks dull. It feels like a downgrade masked as an upgrade.
Also, many non-flagship users are still waiting for basic patches while high-end phones get prioritized, if that was the case then atleast they could have made it stable not undercooked.
Samsung needs to stop misleading its users and be more transparent.
