Battery Drain in Galaxy A52s

Anybody else getting reduced battery performance on galaxy A52s after One UI 4.1 update???

Is it really the software or there is some hardware problem???

I am only getting 5 hours SOT on full charge and have to charge twice a day...its really frustrating

You can change some settings to get more battery life

to increase battery backup i suggest you if you not done yet then do some settings to save more battery life and observe for next 1-2 days, it will give a noticeable difference

> If possible, use 60hz refresh rate

> use extra dim

> use 4g/lte in network settings

Some other tips:


1. Settings>Connection>more connections settings> disable nearby device settings.

2. Settings>>Location>improve accuracy >disable
A. Wifi scanning
B. Bluetooth scanning .

3. Device care>battery >power mode>select "optimised" and "adaptive power saving".

And then click on "app power management >
And enable these 2 options.
A. Adaptive battery
B. Put Unused Apps to Sleep.

Which was your earlier phone?
With my A52s5g, I am getting 6 hours sot from 85 to 20 and 8 to 10 hours of sot from 100 to 10.
However, yesterday, I used the phone with full day location, and mobile data turned on,along with Bluetooth. Also, the phone was at full brightness most of the time because I was outside. I got only 3 hours of SOT with 1.30 hours of camera use. However, for these 3 hours, the device was at full brightness. And this SOT was from 100 to 6 percent over 23 hours of use(some applications like strava and google Maps were running in the background for the whole time).
So, the sot depends heavily on how we use the device. That's why I am asking about gaming and all.

I am using A52s since the past 8 months...bought it on the very first day it launched...everything was working fine...ysed to get around 8 hours of SOT...but since One UI 4.1 update...only getting 5 hours SOT...with the same usage
