Galaxy AMy wife and I have had the Galaxy A50 for a year now. Over the last few months we have been dealing with audio issues during calls. When talking to someone, the audio will randomly cut off but the call will not be disconnected. The phones are not muted. The phones do not think headphones are connected. No issue that we have found online describes what we are experiencing. Sometimes the audio wont cut out at all. Other times it will cut out after seconds or minutes into a phone call. Most of the time we wont know the audio is cut out and will be carrying on a conversation until the other person calls back or we don't hear a response. Very frustrating situation with these phones. Please help! We love these phones but if this issue cant be fixed we wont be buying another galaxy phone.

Galaxy AWow really? My parents are experiencing same almost exact thing with their calls. My mom's phones only one with issue & tho I'm not sure what model of phone she has, I feel your frustration. I don't think this is a headphone issue 4 y'all, as I figure your not using any corded headphones, however when is it typically happening? Is it when you have Bluetooth connected, or are you holding phone to your ear? My mom typically has her speaker phone on as she can't really hear it when it's not on during a call. However it has happened both ways on different calls. It happens to different numbers whether they are local or in different states, if they are to other mobile devices or landlines.
I reset her network/WiFi/Bluetooth settings & so far it's helped but it's only been a few days . So not sure if it will last.
I also suggest deleting any apps you downloaded persay before this started occuring they may be culprit. If you can't remember which apps those were or if it's been happening so long that you don't remember, then starting it up in safe mode won't help ya much further.
Last result suggestion is backup like your contacts on anything that you might wanna lose I don't recommend backing up the apps for sale because one of those apps still might be the cause of all these issues and if you back it up after you do a total factory reset and you're just going to be importing aka syncing your backed up data importing the same app that caused the conflict in the first place. Re- install apps you used a few at a time, wait use phone a day or so see if there's any issues, then install some more of those prior used apps that you liked, use phone see if any issues ...
Best wishes let me know what y'all find out. Our carrier is Sprint my mom went through family mobile the splinter cheap subsidiary of T-Mobile.
Since T-Mobile bought sprint & basically merged it may just be you need an upgraded network card for the 5G. They told me that I couldn't use a new 5G sim card because my Samsung Galaxy A50 wasn't 5G capable.
Idk if you'll get same answer, but best luck. I love my A50 & had it bout a year no issues & I swear I wouldn't trade it right now for the world .
God bless sincerely Tara
