Any one experiencing this screen freeze issue ?

I purchased an A70 last day. 

I installed google app and if i select the update tab in the google app the phone's main screen area freezes, i can click on the footer area where back, home and apps buttons are located, Also, i can pull down the settings menu by swiping down, but i can close any app or even open a new one. 

Does any of you experience this issue? 

I am posting this here because i think this is an issue with the samsung software and not Google's because even if google app has issue, we should be able to close it right?

no from the may 2nd till now haven't faced such issue in my A70

new mobile must be connected with wifi for initial setups and download background apps.. connect wifi then your problem will solve

no ... havent experienced such issues. Get it checked by an authorised service center and claim warranty if its not resolved.
