Samsung does not give importance to its A series devices... Bought Samsung Galaxy a8 star but there is no pie or one ui update...if they won't speed up thn ppl might migrate to other brands... Bcaz Chinese brands r giving updates to their low budget phones.. But Samsung is way behind them.

No, thats not the case as you can see small budget phones had already recieved the pie update like j4, the thing is a8 star is not a popular phone and its sales number are really less thats why update is taking too long but soon or later you will get the update for sure.

a8 star has passed wifi certification with pie update in beta program, most probably update will be available in june month itself, be patient you will get the update soon.
