It will get Android 17, what it won't get is Android 18

Android 17 will be the A24's last major update, not Android 16. Where did you see this?

Yeah, that isn't entirely true. Yes, it's on quarterly updates, but it was promised 4 major OS updates and 5 total years of security patches, and when the A24 launched, it came with Android 13 out of the box, so it'll get Android 17

Yeah, about that... no. Just wait for One UI 8.5. The May patch is out for some Asian countries, but not in the A24's home country for some bizarre reason

I believe it's supposed to get Android 17, time will tell.

You don't need a third party source when It's clearly written on samsung's own website for that phone that it released with Android 13 and gets up to 4 major Android upgrades.

That means Android 17 will be the last. (Oneui 9)
