All incoming calls show PRIVATE NUMBER

I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy A31.

All incomming calls show PRIVATE NUMBER even when they are in my contact list 

Contacted Samsung support. Told me to go to supplementary settings/enable caller ID  

Cannot find this option in supplementary settings.

Had the same issue with my s23 ultra. Restarted my phone and it solved the issue.
