I have recently been noticing that the battery last quite less than it used to. It is okay when I turn the battery saver on, but then it also slows the phone down. Also recently I have noticed that the phone has been freezing apps.

I will not be doing that, these are generic answers. The fact is that the software is causing this and has to be fixed. Even if I log it into the error reports, they are going to ask me to boot the phone into safe mode, even when the problem lies in the basic software.
