Galaxy A
source from news
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A series smartphone called the Galaxy A5 (2018) has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Recently, an alleged render of the phone’s back panel was leaked by a gadget tipster on Twitter. The render revealed a single camera setup for the device along with a few more details. Now a few alleged press renders of the Galaxy A5 (2018) have popped up on the Chinese social networking website Weibo, presumably sourced from the case manufacturer.
As seen in the renders, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2018 could feature a Galaxy S8-like bezel-free Infinity display sans the curved edges. The phone will have almost no bezels on both the sides and slim bezels on top and bottom. On the top bezel, you will find the earpiece, selfie camera and sensors. However, there won’t be anything in the bottom bezel.
At the rear, the cases have a cutout for a single camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. It appears that the company will equip the next-gen Galaxy A series handsets with a dedicated Bixby assistant button. Similar to its predecessor, the new Galaxy A5 will come with a metal and glass sandwich design.

As per the earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature a 5.5-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is rumoured to come with an Exynos 7880 octa-core processor, mated to 4GB of RAM. The device will feature 32GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
The handset will allegedly come with 16MP cameras on both the front and rear. The fingerprint sensor of the device will be placed below the rear camera. The phone is expected to boot Android Oreo out of the box, and come with a 3,300mAh battery that will support fast charging. There’s no word when the brand is planning to launch the device at the moment.
