Galaxy A
So yesterday I visited the samsung service centre for my problem i.e Samsung galaxy A33 5G wasn't fast charging. They customer care executive firstly informed me that I'll have to pay money if it is physically damaged i.e water (moisture, liquid damage) or phone fall damage. I asked them isn't the A33 IP67 rated? None answer were given and they took my phone for atleast 1 and a half hour. The charging port was replaced and it was covered in warranty. They told me it was water damaged and Not even a single drop of water had been on my phone (believe me I don't leave the phone out of my sight because of phone dependency).
Coming to the point they tried to rob me by saying if it is water damaged then I have to pay the fees for the repair and after asking them about IP67 rating they did it for free or said warranty covers the part.
Why are they trying to scam us? Do we look stupid to them?
I'm using samsung from last two decades and this is how they serve?
