At some point it feels like it is a discrimination. I know they are concentrated in those big markets but to exclude Africa in almost everything is bad. They could have chosen atleast one of the bigger markets in Africa but they didn't. The same thing happened with goodlock. None of the African had it until it was launched globally. So it feels like a discrimination.

I understand @NotAdmin did not say they are discriminating.

Only Samsung and their developers knows but are we saying whole continent of Africa has nothing to offer when it comes to Beta/software development/suggestions?

No not at all.... Germany, Poland, India, South Korea, Us & UK and in some cases China. . This is where it happens.. So this is and has been their sample.... we have to admit they are among the leading in tech, and I think it's an okay sample.... after all, it's just beta testing nothing much

Those countries are what considered big markets when it comes to sales. Majority of them do buy high end S and Z models. Samsung get their big bucks there, so I suspect that it has something to do with that not that we have nothing to offer.

If you look at South Africa for example the last time I checked Samsung had more than 50% market share when it comes to smart phone and the rest of other brands share the 40+%. That should mean something. But I understand again that a big chunk of those are using budget to low end A series phones.

Personally I'm using A73 and A24 and I'm not bothered by the exclusion when it comes to Beta.

It does but compared to those listed there SA might be a smaller market to those, though the brand having a significant market share there..... also i thing they have working smart tutor services there and other services in case thing go south, they are able to remedy....

Basically they are just maintaining a small sample for damage control, they have not expanded to other region and they might not see a reason why, if this sample is still working efficiently in identifying software errors.

The stable is released globally so it would matter much to expand the beta, as it's just a test platform

Though we all might wish to take part, it's not possible for now.
